Our Story

A Home Rooted in Yavapai Country

Peaceful Pines began as a quiet conviction: that a bed and breakfast should feel like returning to a home you didn't know you owned. When we restored this 1920s craftsman on Gale Avenue, we preserved every original beam, every hand-laid tile, every sun-warmed corner — then layered in the comforts modern travelers expect.

Clarkdale sits at the crossroads of Red Rock country and the Black Canyon Trail, and our porch swings face the exact direction the sun sets over the Yavapai peaks. We built this place for people who want to wake up to real silence, real coffee, and real conversation with the people who made it possible.

Every morning, we serve breakfast from our kitchen using ingredients from local farms and orchards. There are no buffet lines here — just a shared table, seasonal menus, and the kind of hospitality that can't be outsourced.

The Experience

What Makes a Stay
Unforgettable

It's not the amenities that define a great bed and breakfast — it's the attention to the details most places overlook.

Artisanal Breakfast

Every morning begins with a seated breakfast — sourdough from our oven, eggs from local farms, seasonal fruit from Yavapai orchards. Nothing processed, nothing rushed.

Curated Local Guides

We know every trailhead, every hidden canyon overlook, and every diner in town that tourists never find. Your itinerary is hand-drawn and personally recommended.

Private Garden & Patio

Wander our established gardens, sip coffee on the wraparound porch, or read beneath the century-old oak. The grounds are yours whenever you need quiet.

Prime Location

Five minutes from downtown Clarkdale, ten from Sedona's red rocks. We're close enough to explore, far enough to sleep in silence.

Flexible Check-in

Long drive? Late arrival? We accommodate your schedule, not the other way around. Just let us know when you're coming — we'll have the lights on.

Personal Hospitality

With only four rooms, you're never a reservation number. We learn your preferences, remember your name, and treat every guest like family returning home.

We drove through Sedona every year for a decade. Peaceful Pines made us finally stop.

In the Heart of
Clarkdale

Clarkdale sits between Sedona and Cottonwood at the base of the Yavapai Mountains. Our address on Gale Avenue places us within walking distance of local shops and restaurants, yet set back enough for genuine quiet.

From here, you're a short drive to the Oak Creek Canyon trailheads, the Chapel of the Holy Cross, and the red rock vortex sites that draw visitors from around the world. But we suspect you'll be just as happy on our porch.
